Benson Odafe Osifo-Whiskey is a Professor of Accounting and Finance at Highstone International University, California, USA, in recognition of his outstanding achievement in Accounting and his more significant contributions to Forensic accounting practice.

Professor Osifo-Whiskey is a multiple Chartered Accountant with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University, now Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. He also holds Post graduate degrees from the University of South Wales and the London Graduate School in the UK. He has extensive practical experience in audit, forensic accounting, taxation, management, finance, marketing, investment, and allied consultancy services.

Prof. Osifo-Whiskey trained as an Accountant in one of the leading audit firms. With over three decades experience in Accountancy, Forensic and statutory Audits and currently leads Osifo- Whiskey & Co., a firm of Chartered Accountants. His professional membership include Fellow of the following bodies: Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), full member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Certified Management Consultants (CMC), Certified Forensic Accountants (CFA), Fellow Institute of Management Specialist FIMS (UK), Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and Fellow member Chartered Institute of Management Consultants Canada and USA and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the global foremost human resource body with headquarters in the USA. He was awarded and recognised a distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Peace & Governance, Texas USA.in the year 2022.

Prof. Osifo-Whiskey prior working experience includes: Accountant, Management Accountant and Treasury Manager in SCOA Nigeria Plc between 1984 to 1991; Financial Controller of Llyolds Investment Bank Ltd from 1992 to 1993; Assistant General Manager (Finance and Admin) in Emerald Finance and Securities Limited from 1994 to 1995, and General Manager before resigning his appointment in 1996 when he was appointed the pioneer Managing Director of Certified Trust Limited, (a Nigerian firm of Finance, Investment and Management Consultants).

He has also served as a consultant to many Companies, in association with some multilateral financial institutions and development financial institutions like The Bank of Industry (BOI), the National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND), Nigeria Export and Import Bank (NEXIM Bank), Africa Export and Import Bank (AFREXIM) Cairo, Egypt and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on SMEs. Prof. Osifo-Whiskey is also a consultant to many Nigerian companies and individuals in the area of Forensic Audit.

Prof. Osifo-Whiskey has over twenty years’ experience as a lecturer in Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Tax and Taxation Management, Management and Audit and investigations and Entrepreneurial Finance, with special emphasis on Forensic Audit and has appeared in many courts scattered all over Nigeria as an expert witness to defend his Forensic audit reports, as evidence in chief, under cross examinations cum re-examinations. He featured as an expert witness in the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Hong kong.
